Gainsborough Heritage Centre
Experience the heritage of Gainsborough with period displays of life in the 1940s and beyond.
Gainsborough Heritage Centre includes a working research library, gift shop, tea room, and permanent exhibitions including industrial exhibits, a period street scene, vintage post office, shops, house and yard as well as temporary exhibitions. The Centre also holds regular events, talks and exhibitions (see the Centre's what's on page for details).
The Centre has an extensive archive of local history information, including a research service available as well as permanent and temporary exhibitions that promote Gainsborough's heritage.
Gainsborough Heritage Association is a registered charity founded in 1994. The Association's mission is to protect, preserve and promote Gainsborough's rich and vibrant past for future generations.
