Part of the Heart

21 Sep 2019

Hearts are being formed across the country in our most loved landscapes on Saturday 21st September at 2pm.

For the first time ever, people in all Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) across the UK are collectively forming hearts to show how much they love their own special landscapes. Join us at Welton le Wold disused quarry to celebrate why the Lincolnshire Wolds was chosen as one of the nation's protected landscapes and be 'part of the heart'.

This is a free event, so please bring your friends and family along.

Take part in a 6 mile guided walk, or join the 1/2 mile geological tour on this nationally important site, or maybe create your own heart. Or just join us for some refreshments at lunchtime - the choice is yours.

Then join us at 2pm for the main event itself - we'll all join together to create a heart in the landscape, just one of many events taking place across the AONB family to show how much we all care for our special landscapes.
