175th Society Celebration
Marking 175 years of promoting History & Archaeology.
The Society for Lincolnshire History & Archaeology (SLHA) was founded in 1844 and this year celebrates a significant birthday. The SLHA is hosting a FREE exhibition and display of archival material about the intriguing history of the Society and its activities and events over the last 175 years. The exhibition will be on show in the upstairs Meeting Room at Jews’ Court, Steep Hill, Lincoln LN2 1LS from Thursday 21st November – Saturday 23rd November inclusive from 10.30am – 3.30pm each day.
As part of the celebrations the Jews’ Court Bookshop is offering 20% off most Society publications from Tuesday 19th November to Friday 30th November inclusive.
Everyone is welcome to the exhibition, so if you are interested in history and archaeology or you are interested in finding out about the building, then don’t miss this special opportunity. We look forward to meeting you!
