Enchanted Lights
Stourton Estates are excited to welcome you to experience their extended enchanted woodland lights trail with special effects. The trees and arboretum will be lit up with coloured lights, soft music and special illuminations creating a magical evening.
Wander along the enchanted woodland trail (just under a kilometre long) lit up with coloured lights, soft music and special illuminations creating a wonderful and relaxing experience. For eagle eyed visitors there will be golden stars to look out for along part of the route. LED spinning will take place on the Old Hall Lawn together with a charity wishing water fountain (where every bit of loose change thrown in will be donated to St Barnabas Hospice). Hidden away is a mystical storytelling tree where an elf will read short stories and fire dance performances in the main arena will make an immersive and entertaining evening.
Marshmallows will be available to purchase and toast on the specially designed mini fire-pits under the stars on the Old Hall Lawn. Visitors can also choose from a variety of locally produced food from quality street food vendors (including Curry Jacks, Fleurs Kitchen, The Food Dude at Bardney, Barbell Burger and Party Delights) sitting on benches around the fire-pit. Stourton Estates will be running a licensed bar with additional seating in the Safari Tent every night where the illuminations continue projected onto a big screen under cover. The log burner will be roaring and visitors can enjoy the ambience of the evening and perhaps indulge in a Baileys hot chocolate or cold beer from the bar?
Covid secure procedures will be in place on site with limited ticket numbers available over two time-slots (5pm – 7pm and 7pm – 9pm) on each evening over 3 nights where a one-way system will be in place to keep everyone safe.
This event is perfect for those who are seeking an alternative to a traditional fireworks display at this time of year and is well suited to small children and those with additional needs. Well behaved dogs on leads are also more than welcome to enjoy the peace and beauty of this night time event.
