Join us for our Rigsby Wood Open Day! Explore the woodland and take a stroll around a carpet of bluebells.

Rigsby Wood is an ancient woodland lying at the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Join us for our open day where you can discover bluebells in abundance, along with wood anemone, wood-sorrel, early-purple orchid, sweet woodruff and ragged-robin. Also keep an eye out for breeding birds such as tawny owl, great spotted woodpecker, treecreeper, finches and warblers.

This is a great chance for new visitors to discover the walking trails through the woodland, and for regular visitors to learn a little more about the wildlife and conservation practices at this precious woodland site.

There should be some refreshments and general wildlife information available.

Free event. No booking necessary. You don't need to be a member to join in our activities. All welcome!
