Over the past 18 years, 200,000 snowdrops, 45,000 crocus, winter irises, and a selection of other bulbs have been planted to create a ¼ mile winter walk leading through the garden and woodland.

There are banks of willows, dogwoods and winter flowering shrubs, a grove of gleaming white Himalayan birch and pleached red-twigged limes to delight the visitor. Nearby St. Helen’s church attributed to Capability Brown is well worth a visit.

There's also a takeaway catering service offering a selection of drinks and hot and cold snacks to enjoy in the cosy Haybarn by the wood burner.

Groups welcome but please pre-book by email. Please be aware that assistance dogs are only allowed in the garden.

Good parking, hard and short mown grass paths.

Warm clothing and waterproof footwear recommended.
