Barbara Hodgkinson invites you to stay in her warm, welcoming, tranquil home, which offers two en-suite guest bedrooms and one twin room with private facilities, away from the hurly-burly of modern day life.
This extended, fully-renovated, pair of cottages is set beside the river Witham on the edge of farmed countryside, over a mile from the road.
If you want to get away for a while, and enjoy abundant wildlife, this is an ideal location. There is also a unique feature, which allows you to watch numerous species of birds, via a web-cam, on a TV in every room, including your bedroom, as they visit feeding stations, build nests and rear their young (also available to watch via my web site). You are welcome to stay around all day, relaxing in the sun room, reading by the open fire in the lounge, enjoying the three quarters of an acre of gardens, exploring or picnicking in our five acres of wild garden, or just walking and sitting by the river after enjoying a breakfast which has won several awards. Evening meals can be provided if ordered in advance.
