Louth Playgoers Riverhead Theatre
Louth Playgoers’ Riverhead Theatre is a local community owned venue. It is maintained and run by a dedicated team made up almost entirely of volunteers.
As the home of Live Entertainment in Louth we are home to both Professional Touring productions, a thriving Youth Theatre, and our own season of Plays, Musical and Pantomime.
Louth Playgoers Society Ltd. were first formed in March 1932 and has successfully operated its own theatre since 1947 (the first public performance was in 1952).
The keys to our current home, the Riverhead Theatre, were handed over March 2002.
Louth Playgoers Society is a registered charity (Charities Commission reg. no 1078605).
Louth Playgoers Society Ltd. is a member of NODA and the Little Theatre Guild.
The Riverhead Theatre is a member of Lincolnshire One Venues (LOV) a body representing many arts venues in Lincolnshire.
