Market Rasen Town Council is inviting people to join them for the Food and Drink Extravaganza, where local flavours will tantalize your taste buds, followed by a captivating Family Easter Trail to delight the little ones. Or you can embrace the spirit of spring at the bustling Spring Market and Gardeners Market and Craft Fair, where you’ll find an array of treasures and treats for your home and garden.
West Lindsey District and town councillor for Market Rasen, Cllr Stephen Bunney said:
“Market Rasen’s vibrant line up of events this year showcases the heart and soul of our community, offering something for everyone to enjoy.
“From commemorating important milestones including the 80th anniversary of D-Day on 6 June to celebrating the joys of the seasons. These events bring us together, fostering a sense of unity and belonging that makes Market Rasen truly special.”
Visitors can explore the wonders of nature at the ‘Nature in My Backyard’ event, where you can discover the beauty of the local environment firsthand. Literature lovers will not want to miss WordFest, a celebration of words, stories, and creativity that promises to ignite your imagination.
As the year draws to a close, Market Rasen will shine bright with the magical glow of Christmas lights and the festive cheer of the Christmas Market. Join the town as they come together to celebrate the joy of the holiday season and spread goodwill to all.

Market Rasen is a quaint market town sitting on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds Natural Landscape, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Whilst you are planning to attend one of the many events featured why not explore the numerous walking routes and heritage trails starting in the heart of the town. The nearby Willingham Woods is also a great stop off which has walks and trails for all ages and abilities.
