May is Local and Community History Month
We are delighted to be supporting Local & Community History Month. There is a wealth of heritage and history in our towns, villages and countryside and we look forward to celebrating this with you through community events throughout the month.

Mysteries of Roman Horncastle Talk - Thursday 9th May from 1pm til 2pm - Join Horncastle History & Heritage Society for a talk next to our very own piece of the town's Roman wall.
Roman Children's Activities - Saturday 11th May from 10:30 am to 12 noon - Families can drop in to have a go at some free activities for children with a Roman theme.
Horncastle Local History Day - Saturday 25th May from 10 am to 2pm - Explore Horncastle's fascinating history with a host of new displays created for the Horncastle Heritage Trail. Join Rhubarb Theatre for some Roman Antics. Plus discover books and resources about local history.
Horncastle Heritage Trail Walk - Saturday 25th May, 11am from Joseph Banks Centre - A special talking walk following the Heritage Trail's 3 mile route. Part of the Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival.
