Cycling in the Lincolnshire Wolds
If it’s the "Great Outdoors" that calls you then welcome to perfect cycling country. Under Lincolnshire’s big skies meander along country lanes, uncluttered roads and across ridge-tops and be inspired by the amazing vistas.
For cyclists, find your own hillside challenge, or try one of these six cycling routes catering from the beginner to the more advanced:
Hubbard's Hills to Red Hill (6.5 or 11.8 miles)
Hubbard's Hills to Welsdale Bottom (11.1 miles)
Louth to North Ormsby (18.7 miles)
Louth to Grimoldby (7 or 11.5 miles)
Legbourne to Belleau (16.2 miles)
Legbourne to Authorpe (13.5 miles)
The National Cycle network route from Hull to Harwich passes through the Lincolnshire Wolds, whilst the 69 mile Lindsey Trail is suitable for carriage drivers, horse riders, cyclists and walkers.
