These gardens set back from the busy road offer a place of peace and reflection. You will find a formal garden with roses, flowers and herbaceous planting.
There is also a large lawned area, in the centre of which is the town’s Korean War Veterans Memorial. There are also benches and paved paths suitable for visitors whatever their mobility.
On a summer evening the gardens are a popular place to sit outside with a bag of chips from Mermaids Fish & Chip Shop on the other side of South Street.
The gardens are on South Street, 85 metres from the Bull Ring and the junction with the A158. There is some adjacent on street parking, but The Wong free car park is also just a 2 minute walk away.
