Banovallum House, Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust HQ
Banovallum House is the headquarters of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. It is situated along the River Bain in the centre of the town, and its grounds include a wildlife garden with pond, a herbacious walled garden and about 200m of river bank surrounding the Georgian house.
The grounds are good for a variety of garden birds including finches and tits, song thrush and pied wagtail. Kingfisher can also be seen along the river on a good day.
Wildlife related gifts and other items such as bird food are available to purchase at the Trust’s shop inside Banovallum House. It’s also a great place to find out more about the many nature reserves the Trust cares for in the area.
