Tattershall College
Tattershall College is the ruin of a grammar school built in the late 15th century.
It is one of a complex of buildings built in the village by Ralph, Lord Cromwell, including Tattershall Castle, the collegiate church and the almshouses.
Following its use as a grammar school for tenants of Lord Cromwell and his descendants the building was converted to use as a malthouse in the late 18th century. Following a local campaign it was saved for the nation in 1972.
The property is managed by Heritage Lincolnshire by agreement with English Heritage.
The site is open everyday from dawn to dusk and admission is free.
