The Viking's Retreat is a modern open plan self contained mini-cottage that sleeps two, located in the lovely village of Donington-on-Bain in the very heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. 

The retreat overlooks The Viking Way, a 147 mile national trail that starts on the banks of the River Humber and finishes at Oakham in Rutland.  There are several popular established walks around the village too, from 2 miles to 7 miles, right out of the garden gate.
