Lincolnshire Heritage Open Days

13 Sep 2019 - 22 Sep 2019

2019 marks the 25th anniversary of Heritage Open Days and this year's theme will be Lincolnshire Learning, Wisdom and Folklore. This theme seeks to celebrate learning in its widest possible sense, from skills sharing to folklore and academic heritage to military training.

For the first time ever the festival will take place over a full ten day period, from Friday 13th to Sunday 22nd September.

Each year the festival celebrates both the county's best loved treasures and hidden gems. We do this by providing access to special places not normally open to the public or offering free access to attractions that usually charge a fee. There are events and activities for all ages and interests, including children's trails and activities, exhibitions and expert-led guided tours and temporary exhibitions.

Please note that some events have limited places and require advance booking, so please do book early to avoid disappointment. All information is available online and in the Festival booklet.

Brochure is available locally and also available to download here.
