POSTPONED! - Louth Flood Centenary

01 Apr 2020 - 06 Jun 2020

This exhibition will commemorate the disastrous flood of 29 May 1920, when a thunderstorm caused a tsunami to race through the town demolishing many houses and killing 23 residents.

The exhibition is being created together with St James' Church, Louth Town Council and Spout yard, with each organisation focusing on different aspects of the flood.

Along with displays, there will be guided walks following the path of the flood throughout the town.
