Louth Choral Society - A Night at the Opera
Louth Choral Society’s resheduled concert ‘A Night at the Opera ‘ promises to be an evening all lovers of opera will not wish to miss.
The Choir is delighted to welcome two international opera stars for an evening of popular arias and choruses. Christopher Maltman (Baritone) back to Louth St James ‘s Church where his musical career began as a chorister Chris was born in Cleethorpes and grew up in Lincolnshire, attending Louth schools, he is now described as “one of the leading baritones of his generation” (OperaWire), Chris will be accompanied by his wife, Audrey Saint-Gil, a renowned French conductor and composer.
Clare Presland (Mezzo Soprano) “mesmerising with an intensity that almost sears the flesh”. Clare has firmly established herself on the international operatic and concert platforms.
