Alford 1940's Weekend
After the huge success of last year. The 2nd Alford 1940s weekend event is to take place on 13th and 14th August 2022, 10am-5pm each day, in the Market town of Alford to commemorate the end of the Second world war (VJ day 15th August).
It is organised by a local WW2 re-enacting family that wanted to Share their love of the forties with the whole community. The event will include 40s singers, DJ major swing, 40s dancers, re-enactors, classic cars, military vehicles, vintage traders, a themed tresure trail and living history displays. This is a whole community event where the whole town, shops and businesses get involved and have a great weekend. Alford looks forward to greeting you.
