Lincolnshire Wolds AONB 50th Anniversary Events
50 Events for 50 Years!
This year, the Lincolnshire Wolds is celebrating the 50th anniversary of becoming an Area of Outstanding Beauty (AONB).
This anniversary is a chance to celebrate all that has been achieved in working to protect and enhance the Lincolnshire wolds, it's habitats and physical feautres, it's heritage, culture, communitoies and management.
As part of this, the Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service, the Lincolnshire Chalk Streams project and the Farming in Protected Landscapes are running a series of events to showcase, promote and engage with people who live, work and visit the Lincolnshire Wolds. From walks and talks to paracticail taske and arts, they hope there is something for everyone.
Most of the events are free but voluntary donations are welcome to Lincolnshire Air Ambulance.
