Bransby Horses

One of the UK’s largest equine rescue and welfare centres which is home to around 300 horses, ponies and donkeys.

Bransby Horses is a great day out for the whole family with award-winning facilities just 20 minutes by road from Lincoln.

With a full calendar of events throughout the year, including educational talks, there is something for everyone.

The charity has been rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming and providing sanctuary care for equines in need since 1968 when founder, Peter Hunt, arrived from London with his rescued mare, Sally.

With free entry, they welcome thousands of visitors each year who enjoy meeting their four-legged residents and exploring miles of picturesque walkways.

Bransby Horses is perfect for a family day out, with miles of pushchair and wheelchair friendly walkways, playground, picnic venue, meeting place and cafe, serving breakfast, lunch and light refreshments.
